1. What is a 5-year visa exemption certificate?
5-year visa exemption certificate (also known as 5-year visa) is a document for entry and exit into Vietnam for Vietnamese citizens residing abroad or cases where foreign citizens are husbands/wives/ children of Vietnamese people.
When entering Vietnam with this type of document, you can temporarily stay in Vietnam for a maximum of 6 months per entry.
Note: The 5-year visa exemption certificate has the same value as a Vietnam visa.
